After a lengthy period of attending my mother in her declining health, I followed her wishes in repairing to Summers & Son Funeral Home to prepare her final appearance to the world. I met with the staff on various occasions concerning my mother's preparations, and they consistently exhibited the highest measure of professionalism and consideration, accommodating my wishes up to the last minute. Special kudos to Tammarria who met with me to explain process, prices, and nuances/details I had not considered. And mom, who always cared about her appearance, would have been pleased with Brent's efforts. She looked lovely! The highest complement I can offer is my satisfaction with Summers & Son's professional services with the treasure of my life, my mother. I can't say enough good.

My mother, Annell Dawson Sciortino passed away on January 9th , 2121at 10;30P.M. She was residing in a nursing home in Nashville, Tn. Brent Summers is a long time family friend andI called him the same night. Brent made immediate arrangements to take mother to the funeral home in Russellville, Ky. It was and is a tremendous relief to know there is someone on whom you can depend during such an emotional and difficult time. Summers and Son were both caring and professional while patiently listening to our requests regarding mother's arrangements. Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, we chose not to have a formal visitation but did so graveside. Brent made everything so easy and my entire family is appreciative of he and his staff. I would recommend Summers and Son Funeral Home to anyone seeking a caring and professional service for their loved ones.
